Paintings

There are over 120 of them in our collection. More exist in private collections. After Lola’s death, we traveled to Caribou, ME where she had been living. We inventoried the paintings using whatever information about them that we could find. This includes notations that may have been attached to the backs of the paintings or from notes we found in envelopes. In some cases, we guess (like the Michael Jackson painting, or Gerald Ford).

In almost all cases, we noted the size of the canvas and the makeup of the artwork (basically, whether it was jeweled or not). As you look through the portfolios, you’ll be able to see this information attached to each image.
